The Craft
Five steps, one piece at a time.
Reupholstery isn't a slipcover. We take the piece back to its frame and build it up again — which is why it outlives the thing you'd have replaced it with.
Collect
We fetch the piece from your home or office anywhere in greater Joburg. No loading it into your own bakkie.
Strip
Old fabric, tacks and tired foam come off entirely, so we can see exactly what we're working with.
Rebuild
Frame repaired, joints re-glued, webbing and springs re-tensioned, foam and fibre replaced.
Upholster
Your chosen fabric or leather cut, stitched and pulled by hand. This is the part that can't be rushed.
Deliver
Back in your lounge, looking like the day it was made — and built to go another decade.

Fabric & Leather
You pick it. We'll tell you the truth about it.
Velvet, linen, leather, hard-wearing weave — we'll bring swatches to you and say plainly which will survive your kids, your dogs and your Sunday afternoons, and which will look tired in a year.
Why reupholster
The frame is the expensive part. And yours is fine.
Furniture built twenty years ago used solid hardwood. What's failed is the foam and the fabric — the two cheapest things on it.
Replacing the suite throws away a frame better than anything on a showroom floor, and you pay for the privilege. Reupholstering keeps the good part and renews the rest for a fraction.

Collected and delivered, free.
Our workshop is at Shop 5, 96 Oxford Street, Ferndale, Randburg — but you never have to come to us. We collect and return across greater Johannesburg at no charge.
